Jumar:Xtras Ancestry Manager is an assistant for systems developers who work with the AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler tool from Computer Associates and an add-on product for AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler from Computer Associates which allows IT organisations to investigate links between objects in ERwin logical and physical models. ERwin allows models to be derived from other models and objects to be derived from other objects. In the enterprise data modeling scenario the relationships between models and the objects they contain can be extremely complex. Jumar:Xtras Ancestry Manager allows the ERwin user to view and navigate these relationships and manipulate the ancestry information to assist with Impact Analysis and Change Control.
