Description

Integrate Enterprise Architect UML into Visual Studio Eclipse and TcSE. Perform MDA transformations and generate high quality rich text and web based reports and integrate UML software designs and BPMN business processes.
MDG Integration is available in the following Editions:

• MDG Visual Studio Integration: navigate the UML model within Microsoft Visual Studio, perform MDA transformations and generate high quality rich text and web based reports
• MDG Eclipse Integration: integrates Enterprise Architect and UML into the Eclipse environment, enabling users to navigate and refine the development model and to use the built-in model discussion forum
• MDG for TcSE Integration: integrates Enterprise Architect and UML models with the Teamcenter Systems Engineering PLM environment. Users can integrate UML software designs, BPMN business processes and SysML system models with product specifications and requirements in Teamcenter Systems Engineering.

Visual Studio Integration

MDG Integration and Enterprise Architect bring the best of UML 2.1 to your favorite IDE
MDG Integration brings many of the benefits and rich modeling power of Enterprise Architect and UML 2.1 to Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and 2008. Intuitive navigation and editing of the model is provided directly inside the IDE using the EA Project Explorer. At the click of a button, MDG Integration allows you to reverse engineer and generate .Net code from UML elements using EA’s template driven Code Engineering Framework. Reporting and documentation is also covered, with high-quality rich text and web-based document generation built-in. With support for MDA transformations, Baseline management and Engineering of key XML based technologies, MDG Integration provides the functionality required of a fully fledged modeling platform right inside Visual Studio.

Note: MDG Integration for Visual Studio 3.5 requires Enterprise Architect 7.1.

MDG Integration for TcSE brings the benefits and rich modeling power of Enterprise Architect and UML 2.1 to the Teamcenter Systems Engineering PLM Environment, by Siemens PLM. Directly integrate and exchange model information between Teamcenter Systems Engineering and Enterprise Architect.

Capture and share UML software designs, BPMN business processes and SysML system models, with product specifications and requirements, using Enterprise Architect and Teamcenter Systems Engineering.

Take advantage of support for MDA transformations, Baseline management and Architectural Frameworks such as Zachman, DoDAF and TOGAF. A rich and compelling modeling platform based on UML and related specifications, right inside Teamcenter Systems Engineering.
